I was in the US on a work visa (Indian Citizen). I have left the job and the country an year ago. My past employer has rolled over 401K to an IRA with Millennium with a balance of $4k. They have high fees and bad reputation. We are moving to Canada as permanent residents in 4 months. I have active bank accounts in the US including one with Schwab. My spouse (Indian citizen) has a Traditional IRA with Vanguard ($50K balance).

I know the popular advice is to rollover (if I can still create an Trad. IRA with Schwab or Vanguard by not being within the US), but not sure if I (or both of us) should just take the distribution considering the chances of returning to the US is very slim. I'm not in a hurry and want the most possible money.
