Hi all,This summer, I'm looking to build a floating deck in my backyard. My desired area is 24' x 12'. I just want a simple rectangle. My plan of action was to set out concrete footers to level the deck, then make a frame and add the joists, then the decking board.However, I'm not sure how to handle the 24' sides. I only have access to big box store lumber and I'm leery that I would only find warped 24' boards (if they even go that long).Could I just do two 12' boards with mending plates in the middle? via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2IgZ2Pc
