We have an assignment to find the rate of return necessary on a couple’s 401(k) so they can meet their retirement needs. That part I’m fine with.
However, we then have about 40 indexes, mutual funds, or companies to choose from to create a portfolio that will match that rate of return.
Is there somewhere I can enter in these 40 companies and find rate of returns rather than just shooting in the dark and hoping I pick 5 that give me the necessary rate of return?
