I received a call from a debt collector sating a owed $139 from an account I'm positive I paid almost three years ago. I told the person talking to me that I would like them to send me proof of the original debt. She said said ok and emailed me a document. This document just looks like a regular statement stating that I owed said company $139. It does say what company they are collecting for but that's about it. Is this a correct proof of debt?
