(Oregon) I have been a cashier at a chain drugstore, technically for a year now. I have been getting paid $9.75 the whole time I have been there. Two months ago, the minimum wage rose to $10.25. Yet, I am still getting paid $9.75. I should add in, I had put my two week notice a week before the minimum wage would rise, so the first two weeks that the minimum wage rose I was still getting paid $9.75. I thought my wage would have rose, but once I recieved my last check, I noticed it did not. Because, I planned on moving I didn't care about being short changed. Then, three weeks after, I asked for my job back. I was rehired, however my wage is still $9.75, I have been there for a year now. Should I just quit? I quit in the first place because there were too many problems with how the place was run. The three weeks I had off, it was difficult to find places that were hiring. Sorry for the errors, I just have a lot on my mind.
