Our microwave has started acting up. It turns on fine, goes through the cycle and counts down but it doesn't heat up. Normally I wouldn't bother but it's part of a fitted kitchen and a replacement one just doesn't seen to exist anymore so I'm gonna try my hand at fixing it. 80% of the time it's either the secondary fuse or a door switch.I did my research, a lot, to the point were I started spooking myself. I need some advice about discharging the capacitor. I have left it unplugged for the last three days and haven't touched it. The next step I guess is to take off the cover and discharge it with a screw driver.Any words of wisdom or advise before I try it out? via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2Dg4760
