Hi guys, im planning on making a few parts for my pc case, one of them is a lightbox and the other is a new side panel window. My issue is i am not that familiar with working with acrylic.Ill be cutting small strips out of 3mm acrylic and they need to be perfectly straight, should i use a ruler whilst i cut?i want to make a window which sits flush with my case, my idea was to draw the size of the window on the acrylic and then sand down the edges 1mm or so, would this work alright if i used a dremal with a sanding bit?I want to engrave a grid pattern onto a 10mm piece of clear acrylic. would any engraving tool work? any ideas on the method i should use to get the cleanest grid pattern?Does it matter what glue i use? eg can i just get "acrylic glue" from amazon and call it a day.The only tool i really have is a dremal with the cutting disk set and another pack of plastic cutting disks. and maybe a file hidden somewhere. i think i can get access to a drill aswell. am i light on equipment or could it be done using what i have?Heres a link to the project im trying to mirror, http://bit.ly/2FFr2sT advice would be greatly appreciated :) via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2T49Jpy
