I'm a 23 year old male, living/working near a fairly expensive mid-sized midwestern city. I just graduated college last spring and began working immediately. I have $14,500 in savings, my salary is $40,000 and I have no college debt.
Here's the kicker... I was able to graduate college debt free largely due to living at home with my parents this entire time. I'm starting to feel cramped and annoyed and feel like I need my own place, however both of them are telling me that would be completely irresponsible and the only thing I should be worrying about is saving for grad school.
What do you guys think? Is my financial situation such that I could feasibly move out? (I know there are so many more variables to it)
