I know recliners are a popular BIFL item on here (I imagine) but doing a search I don't see anything recent.
I went in blind and bought a La-Z-Boy powered reclining couch thinking I was getting a cadillac piece of furniture that I could pass on to my kids and enjoy forever. Its a fucking piece of shit, one side doesn't even work, the leg mechanism is bent to hell and impossible to take apart / fix. To be blunt and I've seen MUCH better quality on some random brands nobody has heard of for thousands (yes) less.
ANYWAYS... what are y'all saying the go-to brand is these days for a quality reclining couch (also interested in a personal reclining chair)? I'm ok with a couple grand on the couch and maybe a grand for a recliner.
