He has a problem. THESE ARE NOT COINS OF VALUE. This is a problem that has been going on for years. He has savings and a retirement fund but the change issue has been building for over a decade. I am not kidding when I say this is well over 2k in coins. That was the last time I tried to tackle the hoard and that was about 5 yeats ago. Ya'll know the story of gpa and his bucket of coins? My SO started at 30.
FINALLY he said I can cash it out (the fight about where to invest it will come later later) so what do I do with this? Do I call local Banks and see who will play? Do I dump it into coinstar and get amazon gift cards for myself and cash him out and not tell him? (I have no idea what I'd buy and have no major purchases planned)
How do I cash in a stupid amount of change?
