Be honest, if you're maxing out your 401(k), are you in the 1% or are you never doing anything other than working, eating ramen, and sleeping? I'm single, make a decent salary, have no debt or dependents, work 100% from home so I never drive anywhere or eat out and I'm still no where close to be able to hit $18.5k. I contribute every paycheck but with rent, utilities, and general expenses there's just no way I could max it out.

For those of you who max it out, do you make a massive salary or have you just forsaken any sort of life outside of work?
