Hi All,I have an external door with a square-round hinge (see pic). The hinge is square on the door, but round on the frame. I want a different finish and so will be replacing the hinges. Is it okay to just use a standard 4" 5/8 round hinge. I know this means the corners of the mortise on the door will be showing, but are there any other issues I should know about. Is there any reason I shouldn't do this? It'll just be much easier getting round hinges at the big box store than tracking down square-round combo hinges online.
