Hi all,

I am in the market for a new couch/sofa/loveseat. I have read a couple threads on this post with mixed reactions as to whether this type of furniture can really be "buy it for life." For my situation, I don't have a set budget. I am willing to pay more if the quality justifies the cost. However, I know I will be moving at least twice in the near-term (within the next 10 years) so that is one of my limiting factors. I'm torn as to whether or not it would really be worth it to invest in such furniture. In the past, I've used hand-me-down furniture so I've gotten away with not having to buy. For reference, I have moved 3 times in the past 5 years for work. I was looking at brands like Lovesac and Campaign which tout lifetime warranties and easy-to-move pieces. I like the modular aspect as well. However, Lovesac seems to have terrible customer service from what I've read and Campaign seems to be a new company so I can't predict whether or not they'll be around long enough for the lifetime warranty to remain relevant. Since I move around, to me it makes sense to buy cheaper furniture, but I would like to get more opinions on the matter.
