One of my biggest money drains is eating out. My mind quickly jumps to "I have nothing to eat" and I head to the store, even when I already have perfectly good food at home. Then I end up with leftovers that have gone bad because I forgot to look at the back of my fridge.
So, to curb this unfrugal habit, I've started a restaurant-style Menu Board where I keep track of some of the ingredients I have in my kitchen, and ideas of what I can cook with minimal effort.
Here is a photo (also featured is my first attempt at homemade kimchi).
Does anyone else do something like this?
