I've measured the resistance, and it's 21 ohms, manual says 22 +- 10%, but the outer edge/lip of the ceramic was cracked and just fell apart.I can hear the relay clicking when I attempt to turn on the element, and the Hot Surface indicator is working properly as well.I haven't measured the incoming voltage yet due to time constraints, but I accidentally brushed the inbound terminals with my finger when I was Peeking to see what tools I'd need, and there's power there for sure! Yes, I unplugged it right at that moment!I'm no stranger to 240. Since the top of the element lip was cracked in several places and just fell off, I'm assuming that I'm replacing the element no matter what at this point.BUT, what if the new element doesn't fire? Is my next most likely culprit the relay?FYI this is an LG 3083ST /01, and it's the right front element.Any help out there? via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2UQ1mPF
