So we bought this bookcase thing that has wooden "shelfs" and a metal frame.When we bought it almost a decade ago we just spray painted it but the spray paint is chipping off and it's started to look bad. Since I literally know nothing about these types of things I'd love some advice. The paint needs to be somewhat water resistant since I will be watering plants on it and it will get some splashes, what kind of paint should I use? Do I need to use primer?
