Don’t know if this is the right place to post this. My girlfriend and I are needing to move and have to verify our income. As we are both self employed it is hard furnish proof of income. Over the course of a year both of our incomes balance out to over the minimum for the Apartments we’re looking at but I don’t know how to say “take my word for it, by the end of the year I will make a minimum of what you’re asking” when they only want to see paystubs/ two months of bank statements. How do I go about furnishing relevant documentation for my income if the management company only wants verifiable paystubs? Is there an appropriate way to offer a tax return or something else to prove that we make enough to qualify for the apartment? Asking advice from other self-employed renters or landlords on this sub.
