Hello. Anybody here living in a houseboat in the UK? If I buy a houseboat and live in the boat fulltime, how much would it cost me per month?
I currently rent a small room in London for £500 a month. I was wondering if it would be cheaper if I live on a boat.
What will I have to pay on a monthly basis? What are the hidden costs I should be aware of?
Mooring, gas, where do I get the water for showering etc.?
Also, I don't have prior experience in driving a boat, how do I even move from one mooring to another? Can I learn it easily?
