Hi all, I'm installing a garage door opener and the wires for the sensors and door control button were put in by the builder. They have 3 cat-5e wires coming out of the roof and 1 white wire. I've figured out the white wire is to the door control button at the back of the garage. I'm trying to figure out which 2 of the 3 cat-5e wires goes up to the front for the sensors without climbing up into the attic. Does anyone know of a way to test which wires are which? Also, anyone have an idea what the 3rd cat-5e is for? via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2Ql8JiC
