I just finished a job interview and from what I'm hearing from my friend who currently works with the company, it looks like I might be hired. However, I'm currently waiting to be interviewed at another company where I would much rather work instead because of pay, location etc. If I do get a job offer from the first company, what would be a polite way to tell them I'm still waiting to hear from another job, but would still want to work there if the second company I prefer doesn't work out?
