Okay so I’m decorating my new bedroom and have a pretty much blank canvas to work with, its recently been redone with lining paper and emulsion. However, the diy genius himself (heavy sarcasm) my dad has hung the lining paper vertically and then painted over it. So I’ve bought a paste the paper brickwork wallpaper which obviously hangs vertically also. So I’m worried that there will be a gap between the decorative wallpaper once it’s dried because it isn’t cross lined and also that the seams will be really visible. So should I hang lining paper horizontally on top of the previously vertically hung and painted lining paper or just hang my decorative paper on top regardless? If I do hang lining paper first how long do I wait between hanging lining paper and hanging the decorative wallpaper? Thanks in advance!Anyone else think paper doesn’t really look like a real word anymore? via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2Dj1OAe
