I have been monitoring my budget and I have saved more today and this month than previous ones due to cost-cutting and refusing to spend on items I want. I sometimes buy some candies, chips, drinks (energy drinks, coffee, softdrinks), some fast food and other snacks during work days. They are cheap, yes and I can just go to 7-Eleven to buy a few, but I decided I don't really need them since I'm not that hungry so I addressed the habit.

Then I realised upon checking that the category of snack and drink to-gos are one of the big factors to my expenditures. They're next to rent and bills, transpo and primary food needs (rice, veg, meats, canned). I've been packing meals ever since and I rarely go to buy light snacks and drinks (and other cheap but useless items) again. No no to fast foods or restos too. (Only once a month)

Every dollar counts guys. I can't stress this enough. I've been saving to build a PC and I've shattered my monthly savings targets twice now. You can save more and you can do it! Cheers to all
