My family comes from a poor background. I was the outlier and ended up doing well for myself. I’ve recently read a few things about how poor people are generationally poor and through social constructs unconsciously teach their kids “poor” habits. I have a brother who is financially stable but I still have two sisters who are struggling and one separated parent who is below poverty. I am now a father of three and I A. Don’t want to subconsciously teach my children “poor” habits. And B: After discussing with my wife and brother we have decided that we want to help our sisters get out of the “poor” cycle. I’d love to get some feedback on if anyone else has been in this situation; how they helped their family change generations of habits; what habits you feel are “poor” habits, and how to avoid passing them on. Any help really. This idea sorta came to me after reading RK RichDadPoorDad. TIA.
