We had a room framed upstairs and the framer framed a closet at 48x82 unfinished. I didn't notice this was a problem and we've already had drywall done. Now that it's time to finish the closet, the finish carpenter is telling me that the standard bifold door is 24 inches x 80. I'm thinking I can add a 2x4 header to fix the height problem, but can't make the door wider to accommodate the larger closet doors.I have asked the door company to take 1x4 inch off each door on each side, so that gets me to 47 inches. But it'll still be tight. Any ideas? via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2R3qEXx
