a trucking company sent my CDL-A schooling tuition to a collections agency after firing me. I was told while in school that if fired, I would have a chance to pay the company directly & to just wait for my letter in the mail- but after being terminated, within a week of arriving home, I recieved a voicemail from a collections agency across the country asking for their 5 grand. I paid it in full immediately, but my credit score still went down & now I see it's posted on my Experian credit report.
is there anything I can do about this? I've also got a late credit card payment from over 4 years ago that i'd love to get removed!
