So Last Christmas I bought myself some Merino wool socks. I tried Smart wool (Over the calf) first, then darn tough (Over the Calf and Crew). I LOVE my darn tough socks, and the smart wool is good for winter, but not for summer. I also have some wool blend wigwam socks (ankle high).
Last Weekend I began to massively change my life at home. I got rid of 80% of my clothes and 60% possessions. Now I am looking at that overflowing Sock drawer and basket. I usually use 4 pair of those socks in non winter months, and I have 2 winter pair I use, so it is time to toss that crap and get QUALITY!
I am looking for suggestions on what brands to look at, and where to find the better prices. I expect to spend a decent amount on it since I expect them to last.
Also, for those of y'all with stinky feet, are there any Durable mostly merino wool blend socks I should be considering? I think the wigwam socks are a blend I forget where I found them, but they are not as stink free and do not keep my feet dry like the darn tough socks.
Should I just go buy all Darn tough socks, budgeting monthly? lol they are so expensive (but worth it considering I don't know other options).
