I have had a financial adviser for the last 18 months; he controls and manages my investment portfolio in various stocks (long term, retirement growth). The S&P has outperformed my portfolio by +5% since its inception.
Should I be worried? Should I be looking for another financial adviser to maximize my returns? I was under the impression that portfolios managed by financial advisers historically perform BETTER than S&P.
Thoughts?
