This might be the 5000th repost of this, but Jesus Christ IKEA! Moved this weekend and in the process lost a bit of the hardware from my bed. Ended up sleeping my first night at the new place on the floor. Next day I went to IKEA with the full intent of buying a new bed. Since I already have the steel central support beam ($10 value) and the wooden plank mattress base ($50 value) I figured it would save me some money and I'd only need to buy the frame part itself (~$100). But just in case - I brought with me an example of the part I was missing (needed 4 of them, 1 was lost). Went to the Customer Service area, showed them the part, the rep disappeared to the back for a minute, and came back with the replacement part. The replacement part was free, and I didn't even have to show a receipt for my bed purchase or anything like that -- it's worth noting the bed is ~15 years old (maybe even a little older).

TL;DR - Lost piece of my old IKEA bed during a move. Customer Service found me a replacement for free. Saved ~$100 on not having to buy a new bed.
