The person I'm partners with is done with trying to make her job anything other than a death trap. She has 3mo of income saved, and wants to relocate to Fort Collins. She told me today that if we can get 50k to finish her school loans, pay for a year lease, professionally move, and let us keep a cushion, she'll drop this suicide by work crap, and go to the a better place..
Now, she's paid most of her school loans without ever consolidating. No marks on her credit, and we have a developmentally unconventional child. She told me that she just wants to pay a year lease, and not worry about it. I think that much investment capital should be invested into a profitable venture. Don't get me wrong, we're both academically inclined, we've just never approached this topic.
So, here's the rub. I don't know how to get a loan, make a equitable investment in real estate, or deal with quitting a job. I need to sound like I know what I'm talking about when I see her again tonight. Any pointers?
