less than a year ago i was still calculating dollar to calorie ratio when i went to taco bell. i don’t do that anymore but i’m still cheap as shit and cringe every time i have to spend money. for example, i have a ps4 pro that i haven’t played in months because i sold my tv. haven’t bought a tv simply because there hasn’t been a good enough deal for me even though i want one. also, i’ve always wanted an ipad and finally kept one, only after selling over 30 ipads. i would never let it affect others as i always tip but in the back of my mind i still feel like it is “wasting” money. currently in the military so cost of living for me is a few hundred bucks a month, but when i get out, idk how i’ll be able to adjust to spending money like normal people. i was a millionaire by the time i was 23 but have never really enjoyed it. i just don’t have any attachment to material goods; money is strictly for the sake of making more money. half my stuff ends up getting sold whenever a friend makes a good offer, even though i wanted the item and i don’t need the money. how do i change my mindset?
