Hi, I'm new here. I'm working on beginning to plan my family's finances, and as far as I can tell, the first step is to get away from a major bank that charges lots of fees or limits account features, and move to a credit union.
I've had a credit union before, and they were great, however, they're regional to a place I used to live. I want to find a new credit union, but I'm not sure they're all equal. I live in Central Florida (Volusia County), so the main ones I've seen are Space Coast and Vystar. Can anyone point me in a good direction for resources and tips on picking one?
