Many posts here ask about or mention living in a RV. In an urban environment, a Prius strikes a perfect balance of space+HVAC and stealth+convenience - I've been doing it for almost a year and it's been great. I save roughly 80% of the money I used to spend of rent (the other 20% goes to additional car costs - gas, oil, repairs, etc.). Plus, you break the tenant-landlord and tenant-roommate shackles for good.

I wrote this for r/priusdwellers, so the concept may be too radical or repulsive in your current thinking. However, if you're open to it and you want to push the limits of frugality/minimalism, please take a look. The guide compiles all the knowledge I wish I had when I first started and breaks it down into phases which can be completed separately: Stealth Prius
