So I had a 2 hour training today, a 3 hour training tomorrow and a 2 hour one next week that require us to come into work. We have been told that they are all compulsory via the poster in the staff room and the message on the group chat. However, after the training today I messaged the group chat that includes the managers and the staff and asked if we were getting paid for all these trainings. One of the managers replied saying that today's session wasn't compulsory only recommended (even though we were told it was compulsory). Apparently the training tomorrow isn't paid either because it is a required qualification to work there and that we can't work there if we don't get the qualification. Only the training next week is paid.

I called up Fair Work Australia and they informed me that all the training sessions have to be paid by the employer. I don't really know what to do next as I am only a casual and I'm worried about confronting them and having my hours reduced or even being terminated.
