https://ift.tt/2L8uCuR https://ift.tt/2MEiwyf have a three season room that was built 15 years ago on a house I recently bought. The end attached to the home is resting on the foundation while the opposite side is supported by a 6x6 on simple concrete blocks. Now that the room has started settling quite a bit the door is jammed and the windows are hard to close. I tore the front porch off (which unfortunately was not done properly and without flashing so that's another fix) to get a good look at what I can do.I am considering screw piles for their ease in such a tight location, however the ground is nearly all rocky so I doubt they will hold the right pressure to work safely. The other option is digging for concrete tubes below the frost line. My plan there would be to jack up the three season room. I'm just not sure how many would meet safety requirements. The room is about 16 x 6 x 8 ft.I'm not against hiring this project out or spending some money on it. I'm just trying to figure out the best way to permanently solve this rather than simply shimming up a problem every other year. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2Bw4iv1
