I've been looking for a vacuum bottle to keep fruit smoothies made (I'm a fan of Vitamix) in the morning cold all day on-the-go. Stanley was what I found first, but a lot of the negative reviews pertain to a shift in quality since production moved to China. The alternatives that people talk about most prominently seem to be Hydro Flask and Zojurishi, at least from what I've searched, but I'm not a fan of all the intricate plastic on the Zojurishi (seems like a PITA to clean). Hydro Flask is what I was going to go for after I disregarded the Stanley Classic due to the Made-in-China sentiments, but what about the Stanley Master series introduced in 2017?

I can't find much discussion about it with my google-fu, and the quad-vac sounds more like a marketing gimmick to me. The simplicity of the design is definitely gorgeous though, plus the lid design with the metal (non-removeable rubber seal is iffy though, might just get a Hydro Flask because of that).

If nothing else, it seems like the best thermos to pair with a Lenovo Thinkpad in more ways than one.
