I got a personal loan through discover (min amount) to cover some moving expenses. After I got the money, Discover notified me that they were investigating the loan to see if it was fraudulent. I called discover, proved my identity, and verified the loan (so I thought). Now I have a letter saying that they determined the loan was made fraudulently and will be removed from my credit report.

So, I feel like I tried to help, but their top-notch detective work prevailed. What will happen if I just let it be? My credit would be better, but would they try to take the dispersed money back? Am I at any risk here? Or should I keep calling discover and make sure they know that they're a bunch of idiots and it was not made fraudulently?
