My 45 y.o. dad is in a coma with brain contusion and swelling, my mom is absolutely distraught and I need advice to help my family figure this out. I am 23 years old and live with them while in nursing school.
Medical bills are not our concern, both parents have great health insurance and both parties in the accident have insurance. However our big concern now is managing things like utilities, electric, cable, car payments, and anything along those lines. My dad paid all the bills, he was relatively organized and always on time, a lot of stuff set-up for auto pay, but we are scared that there are things we will miss and want to know where we should be looking to take control of everything.
