I purchased a Ryobi plunge router (RE180PL1G) along with the Ryobi universal router table (A25RT03) and had a lot of issues getting the bit high enough above the plate to make any sort of functional cut. I really like the router itself so I removed it from the table and bought a Ryobi fixed depth router (R163G) to use exclusively with the table. I also picked up the Ryobi 15 piece bit set.I seem to be having the opposite problem with this router as the bits seem to be too high even with the depth set to maximum on the router. I had removed the plastic guard on the router when I installed it into the table but even after adding it back on, most bits are too high for many cuts I want to make. This is the lowest I can get most bits https://ift.tt/2nMQx1r there something I might be doing incorrect here? Is there a better way to mount this router to this table? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2OLxgcc
