Here's the scenario. We had an issue with a pipe being caused by our cistern. We had to run a tap overnight in order to stop the rumbling pipe. On Saturday night my girlfriend did this as I was away for the weekend and the sink overflowed overnight and flooded the flat. We are ground floor. Since then we have removed our carpet underlay that was wet and have been using a combination of heating and dehumidifiers to rectify the problem. However our carpets are still wet. As a complete n00b at all of this and the fact our insurance does not cover accidental damage what's our best options for this as we diy this issue.Tldr - our flat flooded and need help drying our concrete floor and carpets. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2LUR7IR
