I am moving into an apartment after several years of living with and taking care of my parents during their health issues. When I came home to help, I moved from the West coast back to the Midwest, with only what could fit in my little Saturn.
Now I need to have items I no longer own, including kitchen items and this brings us to my dilemma: I have inherited my grandmother's china, which has been at my parent's house in a cabinet for years. Normally, I'm all about only owning things that are functional. This stuff is fancier than I'm used to - 22k gold designs, etc. My boyfriend says the china is too nice to use for everyday. Part of me agrees, but the other part gets frustrated thinking of it just sitting in cabinets unused.
Any thoughts are appreciated.
