Hello everyone.I'm planning on relying on a DIY solution for my current problem:I go to work everyday on a bike and I take a backpack with a relatively big notebook inside it on my carrier. I have to do it like this cuz I can't leave it at work. It rains a lot where I live so I just put it inside a big crocery bag and tie it on the carrier with rubber bands, which takes a lot of time. I have an inflatable mattress that just won't stay inflated anymore and I want to convert it to an impermeable bag that I'll screw to the carrier so i can just stuff the backpack in it. However I have no idea how to do it.Should I sew it's sides? If not, what technique can I use to keep it sturdy? What's the best shape to cut it? Start from a huge rectangle from the 100% plastic side of the mattress or use part of it's original form? What's the best tying method for the opening of the bag? Thanks in advance! I'll certainly post pics of my progress afterwards! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2LWdgXn
