We had a plumber come out to replace the lead pipes they had previously found in our home, and the one of them noticed black mold growing in the walls.

Unfortunately, home insurance will not cover it and it's going to cost 3000 out of pocket. I was wondering how I could handle this without putting a huge financial burden on me and my family.

Dammit. I put an extra "the" in the title.

The black mold has reached my brain.
