My boyfriend and I will spend a few weeks in Chicago dog sitting for my aunt and uncle while they're abroad. It will already be a relatively cheap holiday as we don't have to pay for accommodation! However touristic activities can add up and end up making it an expensive holiday. Any tips for what we can do in or around Chicago that doesn't cost too much or is free? Furthermore any recommendations in terms of buying food (which supermarkets/markets to go to, or restaurants/fast food to try)?
