My toilet is functioning fine, except that it runs constantly, making an annoying sound and wasting water. Here's a picture:https://ift.tt/2mS6IKs know nothing about plumbing, but based on google searches, here's two things I have already tried:1) Getting the red cap off and cleaning the inside of it. I did get gunk off, but it didn't seem to resolve the issue.2) Turning the screw that governs how the mechanism under the red cap is attached to the black "bobber" underneath that measures the water level. The screw is a little hard to see but if you look close it's just down and right from the red cap.I tried every possible position for this rod, and it raises or lowers the black bobber, but doesn't seem to make any difference in the running problem.I'd like to avoid the plumber if possible. It seems like it should be easy to resolve this somehow. But I'm stuck. Anyone got any ideas for other things I should try? Thanks! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2mRiNj6
