Not sure if this is the right sub to post this , if not I apologize. We live in an apartment and as such are renting to own our washer and dryer set. We have 10 months left of payments to make before we fully own the appliances. We have no issues with the washer, however with the dryer when you select the drying option for cotton/normal cycle after a couple minutes the dryer will indicate that there is 80% blockage with the airflow sensor. We've contacted the landlord numerous times and they've checked the pipe where lent would go and have cleaned it so thats not an issue. We've only been able to get the clothes to dry thouroughly if we disconnected the dryer hose from the wall and put it on normal/cotton setting, but that blows all the hot air into the apartment. The only other solution is to select the "bulky bedding" cycle, which takes over an hour to dry. I feel like we're using more electricty than we should. Should I contact Aaron's (the place we're renting it from) and explain this issye to them? We've misplaced our renters agrement contract for the appliances.
