Hi all!So, I may have messed up here big time. I'm prepping my home for sale and decided that I was going to patch a few dings here and there and get the place looking brand new. The patching process went as expected, but, when I started painting I noticed something very troubling: everything looked just a bit off. As of now (pic will be posted in comments) you can CLEARLY tell where the new paint was applied. It looks to have a slightly different sheen and be just a bit too bright as compared to the original coat.At first I thought it was due to the use of an incorrect paint. I quickly checked and, nope, it's the same exact paint with the same exact numbers from Home Depot. So, what can I do to fix this? Do I need to paint my whole house again? Below are some additional details.Materials being used: - Behr interior paint primer & base (antique white) - Touch up rollerThings I have done: - 2 coats of the paint - The "feathering" technique - worried about the price of painting my whole roomThanks for any advice! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2v1qc3v
