Low/Medium-income single father of two here.
We have a one-bedroom and I sleep on the sofa in the livingroom.
I'm okay with this arrangement until I can make more and get a larger place. I sleep well, in fact I have a long history of sleeping on sofas and love-seats (I was homeless as a teenager and before that I slept on a sofa in a cellar for about a year. I sort of learned to deal with it pretty well.)
Unfortunately this past month due to a series of irritating events, I had to replace the kids' beds and my sofa, so now I'm on the floor.
I don't have and won't have the money for anything nice, but I would like to get a sleepable sofa that won't break the bank and also won't immediately fall apart on me.
I also don't think craigslist would be an option, I'm REALLY worried about fleas and bed bugs where I live. (I have cats and it would really be awful for them, too.)
Any ideas? Any direction is greatly appreciated in advance.
