My friend asked me to photograph their wedding. I do photography as a hobby and she is well aware I am no expert. I have a decent DSLR and will be using that and editing pictures in photoshop lightroom. I am really going to try to make sure to capture everything.
I was planning on giving a card with a USB of the images after the wedding as my gift to them. However I'm not sure if this comes off as cheap to attend and not give them a gift at the wedding. Frugal move to gift services or am I being a cheap friend?
Edited to add: I always have my camera at any event and take pictures (partly why they asked because I make an online album for pretty much every event I go to). I just usually enjoy candids and no pressure so I was thinking the gift would be the extra pictures and time to get some nice ceremony pictures as the main photographer.
