Hello! GF is turning in her leased Lexus soon, the car (IS200) has several defects, such as the seat cooling actually produces heat instead of cool, and when the a/c is on, hot air comes out of the backseat vents.
She's wondering if she should reveal those defects to Lexus, when she returns the car. I think the concern is that they will try to blame her for them, or perhaps use it against her somehow.
If it's not obvious, I am fairly clueless about leases, I've always bought used myself so any other advice about what to avoid when leasing a new car would be appreciated, such as unnecessary upgrades that they typically talk you into, she'll probably get another Lexus.
