some picturesI'm trying to make Himmeli ornaments for my wedding. We started by buying a kit off Etsy and making one. Now we want to make a few dozen, so instead of buying kits I figured we could cut the brass tubing to length ourselves. I did my reasearch and bought a tube cutter. I couldn't hold the tube well and ended up breaking the cheap tube cutter. I tried to use shears which worked but pinched the ends (which need to be open). Using pliers to open the pinched end leaves it ragged looking. I need to make hundreds of cuts. How can I do this efficiently? I have a bandsaw and a chop saw, but I don't know if I'd need special blades or if it'd crush the rods. I didn't want to try and screw up my tools. Does anyone have any experience with this? via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2N2Fzzi
